FIFA 10: Beyond Expectation or Below?

Just finishing a match in the FIFA 10 game, I have decided to add another dimension to my blog,GAME REVIEW. Well, FIFA doest require any introduction, so lets go straight into the game. FIFA 09 won acclaim over millions of gamers, and with great reasons. The stylish 3D grass, high graphical effect, and evergreen fields adds a lot to the game.Unfortunately,FIFA 10 has nothing that I have mentioned.Ea Sports have neglected the graphical side of FIFA 10 PC completely. There is no grass( forget 3D), and no evergreen fields. The fields are horribly blatant, and plain( like Mohammadans or Abahani field in Dhanmondi!). But Ea sports tried to make up the lack of graphics by enhancing the game play by many folds. No more super shots from distances and getting a goal, no more Q+D shots and getting a goal each time. The shooting mechanism has been altered and made more real, more mature. Also ball control has been effectively altered, so that you can dribble virtually with all players who have the capability, even with defenders like Bosingwa. But don't mistake me, dribbling is lot harder here! Defense has been ticked wonderfully, with defenders pressing upon you like real games, and also heading system is a whole lot better. Opponents are more intellectual and smarter.FIFA 10 introduced a new scouting system which shows you your opponent's strengths and weaknesses. Also Custom Tam style enables you to pick your team's tactics beforehand. In BE A PRO, you can play for your country and be a part of World Cup 2010in Africa!
System Requirements:
RAM:1gb, 512 acceptable(slow)
AGP:256mb(must have pixel shader 3)
CPU P4 2.4 minimum
Disk Space: 7.5 gb

So, its your choice now.Beyond or below expectation, depends upon what your expectations were!

The Others

Just finished watching the fourth episode of season 4 and I noticed a couple of things. The way the episode portrayed the Others was extremely intriguing since the books do not divulge too much information about this icy mystique. In the episode, we first sense that the Others are about to come when we see the poured water freezing in front of Ghost. Whenever the Others appear, the temperature drops or they appear WHEN the temperatures drop. Research about them is scarce, as Samwell Tarly says in book five (small spoiler, sorry!). Whatever the case, they are correlated with a drop in temperatures. If you see water freezing instantly, you better get your dragon steel ready. We then see one of the Other taking the sacrificed baby on a horse to a mountain. This is where things get really interesting. The one riding the horse is the familiar Other. We have seen him before. He was the one leading the attack against the Night's Watch men on Fist of the First Men. But the second Othe...

Bermuda Triangle: The Devil's Lair

Many people argue, that it doesn't exist. And, you won't find it in any map.The U. S. Board of Geographic Names does not recognize the Bermuda Triangle and does not maintain an official file on it. However, within this imaginary area, many real vessels and the people aboard them have seemingly disappeared without explanation. The Bermuda Triangle is located off the Southeastern coast of the United States in the Atlantic Ocean, with its apexes in the vicinities of Bermuda, Miami, Florida, and San Juan, Puerto Rico. It covers roughly 500,000 square miles. The main mystery surrounding the Devils Lair is of unusual and unsolved disappearances o f many ships and planes.According to Llyod's of London reported 428 missing vessels throughout the world between 1955 and 1975.But, the report only contained huge vessels which were insured.Gian J. Quasar, author of "Into the Bermuda Triangle: Pursuing the Truth Behind the World's Greatest Mystery" , later found out 300 mis...

"Why are you mixing English with your native tongue?"

I was asked the aforementioned question while I was talking in Bengali (!) with my parents. I put down my phone, smiled and turned towards my friend and said to him: "Oh! Everyone in my country does it.We mix a couple of English words here and there with our language". With a quizzical expression, he said: "That's weird. Why don't you speak in fluent Bengali? Isn't that your mother tongue?" His questions stopped me on my track, because the answer shocked and shamed me. I realized that the reason we don't speak in straight Bengali is because we don't know how to. That we are too much used to speaking in English with everyone back in our country. That we focused so much on English that we forgot our own mother tongue. I didn't want to tell my friend that there are people, students of my age, who preferred English over Bengali, preferred to write essays in English than in Bengali. Heck! I know people who can't even count from 1 to 100 in ...
