Pilkhana Massacre;Ring any bell??

Months have passed since the brutal incident in Pilkhana occurred. Do you remember the horror? The panic filled moments? 157 high ranked officers have been brutally murdered. One fifty seven. No where in the world has so many high ranking officers have died in one location. Each of them had the capability to run a country;one fifty seven countries in total;half of the world. SO, what have we done prior to this act? What steps, precautions and measurements have we taken? NONE! Hardly anyone speaks of it, and I begin to wonder, do they remember? In talk shows day and night people blabber about worthless issues like should the airport be named Zia or Bangabondhu, but never even go near Pilkhana. Such important people seems to have no time left for the untimely demised Heroes. Why? Isn't it a liability of the government to punish the guilty? We owe to them at least that. You ask any govt official about this, and they will proudly answer: "What do you know! We hanged a few private soldiers and brought justice!". Hanging a few unimportant thugs will not condemn this. The real mastermind has to be unveiled, the instigator has to be trialed. The specific reason, the advantage the thugs got have to be identified and corrected. None of these has been done. Just a few minutes before, I caught the headline of the BREAKING NEWS caption: Any incident like the Pilkhana will be trialed according to Army Laws. As if they are happily waiting for another Pilkhana, then they will boldly trial 3 or 4 privates in the Army Laws. Such losers!
The fault falls upon everyone; if we would have been more vigorous, more remembering, and more grateful, then the govt would have been forced to give some answers. Its not too late; it never is. Let us remember the heroes, let us honour them.

  1. the thing is, our lame government has a lotta lame issues to take care of. They just don't have enough time to spend on some important issues and that is the reason why they aren't taking any actions.

The O Level Experience.

It has been a long and grueling week so far. The mid of the exam is reached, and I use the first liberty I get to share my little ongoing experience with everyone.Don't make the mistake of thinking that the exam is over, as its not.I just have a little free time. For me the exam started on 10th May.Since then I have been only seeing pages and only pages infront of me. Lets start with the beginning. I stepped out of car to be greeted by the scene of a mass crowd, surprisingly consisting more of adults than students, frantically moving here and there. The astronomical number of adults made me confused of where I am actually. Then I learned that in exams, with every single candidate, at least two guardians are clamped together; this actually is a feature of O level examinations. I begin my entrance to the examination hall, with biology paper 1 as the first exam. I was checked and rechecked for God knows what by a serious looking guard. The contortion of his face suggests that he was look...

Anger and US.How to deal with the Red Monster.

" YOU CAN'T EVEN DO ONE SINGLE THING RIGHT! DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY HARDSHIPS I'VE HAD TO ENDURE TO BRING YOU UP?"....We are often hearing things along these lines from our parents.Everyday,at some point we are angry;sometimes, too angry. And that's when we make matter worse. If you have a sibling, like I do, then getting angry will become a habit. And if you are trying to tutor your sibling, then getting angry is simply inevitable.I try to control anger, and trust me, its really really hard. But if you can, the rewards are substantial! So here are a few tricks that you can use: 1.Take a 'timeout.' Although it may seem cliche, counting to 10 before reacting really can defuse your temper.Just do not react instantly, because everyone knows you will regret it seconds later. 2.Get some space. Take a break from the person you're angry with until your frustrations subside a bit. 3.Get some exercise. Think that the football is the person you are angry with and then b...

Enemy of Israel:Hamas or Peace?

There are limits to everything, and I think no one should be above the law.Not even small Nations which tries to muscle its way to the throne of power. The incidents that occurred, and are occurring in the Gaza strip and all over Palestine have provoked me to write this article.Don't get me wrong, I am not at all against Israel or Jews people. I respect them equally as everyone;see them in the same light as I see Muslims. It's just that some of their actions, which are unacceptably increasing nowadays, are just sheer inhumane and I would like to point them out.If I sound too harsh, then know ,its not directed to all the Israelis, but only to those who are responsible for the massacre of Palestinians and who hinder the Middle Eastern peace process. Where to begin? Let's start with one of the most heinous genocide carried out by the Israeli military in Gaza on 27 December 2007.They started with air strike, and then exacerbated the situation by ground strike. It left about 1400 ...
